In this drum machine, clock pulses can be divided and multiplied to make patterns.
It is inspired by clock dividers/multipliers on modular synthesizers (which I have always loved). Unmodified, these are usually bad at creating anything resembling a "groove," let alone Euclidean rhythms, yet they can lead to strange and interesting places. The utter constraint of only having the simplest of clocks, only capable of ticking, and the ability to divide and multiply those solitary ticks, can revealed brilliant patterns I have never found any other way.
This is part of the 10,000 Drum Machines project.
